Job Vacancies At Nsimbo District

The Executive Director of Nsimbo District Council has received approval for new Jobs

for the tenure of the year 2023/2024 from the Secretary General Office of the President Management of

Public Service and Good Governance with Ref.No.FA.97/288/01/09 dated

25/06/2024. Thus, he welcomes job applications from Tanzanians with the qualifications to fill them

the following positions:

1.0 VILLAGE EXECUTIVE GRADE III – POSITION (08)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Issues Officer and Chief Executive of the Village government;

ii. To manage the protection and safety of citizens and their property, to be a peacekeeper

and the manager of good governance in the Village;

iii. Coordinating and managing the planning of Village development plans;

iv. Secretary of all meetings and committees of the village Council;

v. Interpreting and Administering Policies, Laws and Procedures;

v. Prepare information on the implementation of work in his area and motivate

citizens in preparing and implementing strategies to eliminate hunger, poverty and

increase wealth production;

vii. The leader of the heads of professional units in the village;

viii. Manage, collect and store all records and documents of the village;

ix. Chairman of the meeting of experts present in the village;

x. Receive, listen and resolve citizens' complaints and disputes;

xi. Supervising the formulation of village Bylaws; and

xii. He will be responsible to the Chief Executive of the Ward.

xiii. Along with other tasks that will be assigned to you by your employer.

1.1.2 EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants must have Form IV or Form Six
  • Graduated with a diploma/certificate in one of the following fields: Administration, Law, Education
  • Society, Financial Management, Social Development and Arts science from the College
  • Local Government Hombolo or any College recognized by the Government.

SALARY LEVEL: Considering the levels of Government salaries ie TGS B

1.2 CLASS II DRIVER (05 POSITIONS)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLASS II DRIVER

  • Checking the car before and after the trip to determine the safety of
  • cars;
  • Sending employees on business trips;
  • Doing minor car repairs;
  • Collecting and distributing various documents;
  • Filling and keeping information of all trips in the trip book; and
  • Cleaning the car.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Must have graduated from Form Four (IV) or Form Six (Form Six), Must have a Class license la C or E for driving a vehicle that he has worked for at least a year one without causing an accident. 
  • Must have attended basic operational training cars (Basic Driving Course) offered by VETA or NIT or another College recognized by the Government.
