- Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including market trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
- Conduct detailed market evaluations covering customers, sites, spend, competition and differentiation, market share history with market share growth and business plans.
- Drive creation and execution of specific sales plans with the business units to ensure achievement of Sales Order In-take forecasts.
- Identify and spearhead creation and conversion of large and long term strategic opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders particularly at senior levels, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and representative agreements to expand the company's presence in target markets.
- Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients, expansion of existing accounts, and development of innovative business models.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with several years' related experience required
- Experience as Sales or Business Development Director or another relevant role
- Experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients providing Engineering Services
- Strong working relationships with clients within UAE and GCC
- Ability to review existing processes and controls and make improvements where required
