The purpose of this job is to assist in the implementation and maintenance of all standard site operating policies, procedures and protocols relating to bar/club and new business operations and to take responsibility for the deployment and mobilization of all contract staff, whilst ensuring that all Supervisors carry out their duties effectively and in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As an Assistant Operations Manager you will be performing the following duties:
  • Working with and providing operational support to the Account Manager, attending client meetings and ensuring service delivery meets agreed KPI’s, SLA’s and Scope of Works for all event/bar and clubs thus preventing any financial loss
  • Ensuring contract compliance for all contracts under event security which includes Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contract and manage the service delivery
  • Produce schedules for all bars/clubs, liaise with venue management for schedule updates, sending out schedules and ensuring staff compliance to the schedule
  • Cross-checking all end of month time sheets and approving the same for payroll/invoicing. Generating WCR for client approvals and raising invoices for processing
  • Manages daily activities of bars and clubs assuring the highest levels of response times and customer service are achieved
  • Produce detailed proposals for bars/clubs/low risk events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  • Visiting all venues on a weekly basis, this is done post 8pm as all venues are evening/night-based venues
Skills and Experience Required
  • 10 years bar/club and/or event experience
  • High school education
  • Proficient in word, excel, presentations, risk assessments, negotiation skills, report writing, commercial awareness and customer relations management
