Supervisor Job Opportunity in Dubai
DP World is hiring for Supervisor- MechanicalDuties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures in addition to understanding specifications, drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
- Co-ordinate work progress with SRM, superintendent, other trades with own department.
- Liaise with invoicers / estimators to ensure that department and commercial targets are synchronized and met.
- Develop detailed completion program with manpower loading.
- Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to work & safety related matters.
- Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.
- Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for Mechanical Department / Section to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.
- Participate in improvement efforts to enhance safety, productivity and quality of the department.
- Thorough knowledge in overhaul and calibration procedure of mechanical equipment and/or machineries.
- Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
- Possess knowledge of MS office and Project Management skills.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
