HESLB Appeal Results 2024/2025

High Education Students Loan Board (HESLB) has finished the analysis and planning of loans for students who appealed where 11,256 students who appealed and their appeals were successfully and were assigned loans worth TZS 36.4 billion. Information provided (Monday, December 02, 2024) by the Executive Director of HESLB Dr. Bill Kiwia has explained that 4,183 first year students have received loans through referrals worth TZS 13.87 billion and 7,073 students from the second year onwards have received loans through referrals worth TZS 22.5 billion.

Until now, a total of 79,573 first-year students have been assigned loans worth TZS 250.9 billion. “The loan statement for students who appealed has concluded the planning of loans for the academic year 2024/2025 and applicants who did not succeed are advised to apply for a loan in the next phase when the window opens”, concluded Dr. Kiwia
