Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the sales of hardware and building materials, with a deep understanding of the local market and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of hardware and building materials to achieve set targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support regarding product features and benefits.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and new products in the hardware and building materials industry.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, specifically in the hardware and building materials sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and customer base in Dar es Salaam.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to market conditions, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
  • Must be currently employed or not more than 3 months out of work.
  • Age below 35 years.
Additional Requirements:
  • An applicant should be based in Dar es Salaam or willing to relocate.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software.
